Admission

Students Admitted

  • Students who do not currently meet the Academic Success Criteria but who have the potential to be come eligible for a baccalaureate college within one year are referred to the Center for Access and Transition (CAT). It is expected that students can meet the requirements of their program in 1 to 3 quarters in the Center. Students cannot remain in the CAT program longer than 4 quarters of full-time enrollment.

Limited Enrollment

  • There are a limited number of spots in the Center, so that students may benefit from small class sizes and personal advising. For this reason, students who wish to have the opportunity to be in the Center for the autumn quarter are strongly encouraged to apply to UC and confirm their enrollment in the Center by May 1.

Tuition/Financial Aid

  • Students who desire financial aid should fill out a FAFSA as soon as possible. If you have already filled out a FAFSA, visit the financial aid website to check on the status of your aid.

  • 2008-2009 Tuition Rates
  • Students admitted to the CAT are eligible for financial aid (however, students from Northern Kentucky should note that students in the Center are not covered under the Kentucky Tuition Reciprocity program).
