Exemplary Rubrics and Supplemental Assessment Tools

While the faculty from the various UC programs/majors have submitted many excellent discipline-specific rubrics, the General Education Coordinating Committee has selected several exemplary rubrics to share with the UC community.

Since the rubrics are specific to the disciplines that submitted them, they may not be directly applicable to other programs/majors.  However, they can provide guidance to faculty as they continue to work to refine their own discipline-specific rubrics.

In addition to rubrics, several units have developed some of the following supplemental assessment tools.  As faculty pilot their discipline-specific rubrics, we expect that many will generate their own helpful tools, and we will continue to share these with you.
