Welcome to Tutoring Services at
The Learning Assistance Center (LAC)
Fall Quarter Tutoring Begins Monday, October 29th
The Learning Assistance Center provides a number of resources including FREE Peer Tutoring to help students achieve the academic success they desire. Tutoring is offered in two forms: one-on-one and web-based.
One-on-One tutoring connects students seeking assistance with well-qualified student tutors who have earned a 3.0 or better in the subjects they tutor. Students may schedule one-on-one appointments ranging from 30 to 2 hours, depending on the depth of material the student wishes to cover. Tutor Scheduling: Appointments can be scheduled 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through our online scheduling system, Appointment Plus. All tutoring takes place in our office on the 1st floor of University Pavilion.
Web-based is offered through Smarthinking Online Tutoring. See link to the left.
