Friday, May 21

5-7 p.m. MainStreet Reception – A grill-out in front of Tangeman University Center. (Rain contingency: Reception will move into the TUC atrium, lobby and Mick & Mack’s Café.)

6 p.m. – Lecture by Antwone Fisher, author of his 2001 autobiography, “Finding Fish, A Memoir,” in the TUC Theater.

7 p.m. – Book-signing by Antwone Fisher in the UC Bookstore.

7:30 p.m. – The movie “Antwone Fisher” in the TUC Theater. The movie is an adaptation of Antwone Fisher’s autobiography.

5-8 p.m. – Philip M. Meyers Jr. Memorial Gallery open house in the Joseph A. Steger Student Life Center. This is a new venue for presenting the work of College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning students and faculty.

5-7 p.m. – R&B band LeRoy Ellington and the E-Funk Band plays the dance hits from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s on the Bearcat Plaza between TUC and the Joseph A. Steger Student Life Center. (Rain location: Great Hall.)

7:30-9 p.m. -- The musical group, The Light Wires on Bearcat Plaza (Rain location: Great Hall)

8-10 p.m. – Comedian Jim Breuer, a former cast member of “Saturday Night Live” who blends standup comedy with heavy metal music, brings his musical comedy to the Great Hall. (Rain location: TUC atrium.)

9:30-11 p.m. – The San Francisco-based rock band Stroke 9 performs on Bearcat Plaza. (Rain location: Great Hall.)

9:30 p.m. -- The "Lord of the Rings" movie marathon begins in TUC Theater with "Fellowship of the Ring."

10 p.m.-midnight – Attention, “Sopranos” fans: Steve Schirripa, aka Bobby Bacala Baccalieri on the HBO hit TV series, emcees Casino Night, Sopranos-style. The event will be held in the TUC Food Court.

10 p.m.-midnight – Video dance party in the Great Hall.

11 p.m.-1 a.m. – UC’s Collegiate Ministries sponsors a pancake breakfast in the TUC Food Court.

Midnight – Campus tours explore the legends and myths of UC. The tours are sponsored by Bearcat Roar, the UC Admissions student tour-guide group. Tour groups will meet at midnight in front of TUC. The tour should run approximately one hour.


Saturday, May 22

1 a.m. -- The "Lord of the Rings" movie marathon continues in TUC Theater with "The Two Towers."

4:30 a.m. -- The "Lord of the Rings" movie marathon continues in TUC Theater with "The Return of the King."

11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. – “The Rugrats Movie” in TUC Theater.

11 a.m.-4 p.m. – Meet the Rugrats in the TUC Food Court.

11 a.m.-4 p.m. – Inflatable games on the TUC Plaza include a bouncy ball and moonwalk (Rain location: the TUC atrium and the Great Hall.)

11 a.m.-4 p.m. – Face painting and balloon animal creations in the TUC atrium.

12:30-1:30 p.m. – Storybook readings of Rugrats books in the UC Bookstore.

Noon-5 p.m. – Philip M. Meyers, Jr. Memorial Gallery open house in the Joseph A. Steger Student Life Center.

9:50 p.m. -- Rozzi's Famous Fireworks display on Sigma Sigma Commons. The fireworks show will run approximately 10 minutes.

7 p.m.-1 a.m. – The 65th annual Sigma Sigma Carnival, “Carnival Hangs 10,” on Sigma Sigma Commons will have a surfing simulator, “human beach balls” and other games, food, music and prizes. Sigma Sigma is a UC men’s honorary to promote college spirit.
