UC Women Selected for Higher Education Leadership Program
Eight women from the University of Cincinnati are participating in a leadership program that was initiated by UC in 2003 but has since spread to include Xavier, Miami, NKU, Mt. St. Joseph and Cincinnati State.

Eight University of Cincinnati (UC) women have been selected to attend the 2008-2009 Women’s Institute for Leadership Development (WILD) program. Initiated by UC in 2003, the program is now a collaborative effort of six area institutions – UC, Xavier, Miami, Northern Kentucky University, Mt. St. Joseph and Cincinnati State.
Twenty-seven women applied this year; five faculty and three staff women were selected. They are as follows:

The program consists of seven sessions on various topics including career development, leadership and negotiation. Sessions are held at participating institutions once a month. The University of Cincinnati underwrites tuition for selected participants.
