Survey Shows UC Ranks as a World Leader in Eyes of Its International Students
The University of Cincinnati ranks very highly internationally across a myriad of categories, according to those best in position to know UCs international students themselves.
Students from 123 institutions around the world gave feedback for a measurement tool called the International Student Barometer. The broad-ranging survey showed that UC ranked among the top 10 in 32 different categories.
In the category of social facilities, UCs international students gave the university the highest marks of all 123 schools in the survey.
Overall, we received a very positive ranking, says Ron Cushing, the director of UC International Services. These are 123 institutions from across the world, including some of the highest ranked schools in the U.S. and the United Kingdom. On many things we score at the top of the scale. It indicates we are doing a lot of things very well.

A total of 10 universities from Ohio participated in the latest survey. Among the 10 Ohio schools, UC placed first in the following categories:

UCs overall performance on the survey is something that should allow the university to continue to recruit outstanding international students, Cushing says.
These institutions who participated are the same ones we are out recruiting against on a worldwide basis. So these results give us some very good information to share with those students, says Cushing.
