Coveted Global Scholarship Goes to UC Freshman

Anurag Gogineni, BBA ’17, received UC’s coveted Global Scholarship for his outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements in high school.

Gogineni, a Marvin P. Kolodzik Business Scholar in the Carl H. Lindner College of Business, received a renewable $25,000 four-year scholarship, totaling $100,000 for full tuition.

Getting the scholarship has been “so meaningful, and it helped me realize my dream of studying finance in the United States,” Gogineni says.

Of the 1,300 international applications, Gogineni was chosen as most the most deserving candidate. Born in Hyderabad, India, Gogineni lived in the United States for seven years from 1998 to 2005. He lived in India prior to attending UC.
