Annual Benefits Fair Set for Nov. 2

University of Cincinnati Human Resources will host the annual Benefits Fair from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2, at the Kingsgate Marriott Conference Center. The theme for the Benefits Fair is “UC – Around the World!”

This year’s fair will feature a health fair in conjunction with UC Health.   Flu shots will be available for all employees and their dependents age 18 and over.  Pre-registration is required.  Bring your Humana ID card, a completed Consent form and your UC ID.   There is no cost for UC Humana Medical plan members.  The cost is $19 for non-medical plan members.

Benefit Fairs, flu shots and benefit information sessions will also be held at UC Blue Ash from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6, in Room 351 Muntz Hall and at UC Clermont from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, in the Student Activities Center.

“Help us help others by bringing a non perishable item to the Benefits Fair.  All items will be donated to the Free Store Food Bank,” said UC Benefits Director Elizabeth Aumann.

The annual benefits enrollment period for 2013 begins Nov. 1 and ends Nov. 30. The Human Resources Department will continue its ‘going green’ initiative this year and will not print or mail Benefit Enrollment Guides.  Employees will make their benefit elections online using UC Flex Employee Self Service (ESS) located at http://www.ucflex.uc.edu

“As the first step in this year’s Annual Enrollment process, we recommend employees review their current benefit elections by accessing ESS.  Employees should also carefully review their covered dependents for each plan,” Aumann said.
