X25 Software Installation

Download X25 Installation Files from CollegeNET

Although X25 resides on CollegeNET's server and is accessed via the user's browser; it still requires certain software to be installed on each user's PC.

1. Adobe SVG Viewer 6.0
2. Forms Player (ActiveX plug-in)
3. Microsoft XML Parser 4.0
4. Microsoft Common Controls (unless R25 has already been installed on user's PC)

X25 Option Pack for Upgrading R25 Client

You will have to apply the X25 option pack to each R25 client installed on the user's desktop (production, test, and/or training). The upgrade is only necessary for those clients who will be exporting data from R25 to X25.

1. Download file to temporary directory on user's hard drive.
2. Run WinZip on the zipped file.
3. Click the Extract button.
4. Set the "Extract to" field to the R25 installation directory. If you have followed the naming conventions given in the Installation Directions, the R25 installation directories will be R25v32Prod, R25v32Test, and R25v32Train.
5. Check the "Overwrite existing files" checkbox.
6. Check the "Use folder names" checkbox.
7. Click the Extract button to extract the files.
