Data Center Hosting

There is space in the UCit Data Center for your computing equipment.

The secure, environmentally controlled UCit Data Center at G95 Medical Services Building houses the university’s core computing systems. Individual departments may colocate their IT server racks or individual servers or both in the Data Center for a reasonable fee, based on the equipment's requirements.

Authorized personnel may access the facility via card-key (ID badge) 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year. Eleven (11) video surveillance cameras record movements in the facility. Automated software closely monitors temperature, humidity, power [including two (2) enterprise UPS units], fire detection and suppression (Halon/dry pipe) equipment, and data network service (i.e., a primary node room for the university). These features make the location ideal for IT equipment.
