Affiliate Service Offerings

Users who are not current students, faculty, or staff of the university, but are affiliated with the institution may be considered eligible for UC  E-Mail Accounts through UCit. "Affiliates" include contractors, consultants, temporary agency employees, Volunteer faculty and others.

An affiliate who would like a UCMAIL e-mail account  must either be sponsored and the account paid for by a university college or department.

A university affiliate user must be sponsored by a university department to request any of these services. Submit requests through UCit's online ordering system, GETit (pronounced GET I.T.). Specific instructions follow for each service.

UC Affiliate E-mail - Request an e-mail account through GETit under PRODUCTS AND SERVICES:  E-mail. A one-time software license fee is required for UCMAIL. Charges associated with each of the e-mail systems are as follows: 

UCMAIL                                     $ 10  per month ($ 120 annually)
Virtual Private Network (VPN)       $60  one time license fee

Account Deletion Request - To request the deletion of an account for any of these UCit services, use GETit and choose 'DELETE ACCOUNT' in the action field for the appropriate service. Supply the information requested in the GETit transaction.
