Blackberry and Active Sync
Users with properly equipped mobile devices can synchronize them with their e-mail, thanks to the Blackberry Enterprise Server and Microsoft Exchange Active Sync software. Management of UC's Blackberry Enterprise Server is a cooperative effort between E-Mail Services and UC Mobile. In accordance with this partnership, subscribers must purchase a UC Mobile Blackberry with a data plan in order to synchronize successfully on the UC network. Because it is an additional service that UC must contract through Blackberry, there is a $80 per user licensing fee. You can request access through GETit at https://www.uc.edu/UCit/GetIT/default.asp.
