MatLab Software Suite for Instructional Faculty

According to an agreement between UCit and the UC account representative at the Mathworks Company, UC Faculty employing MATLAB in the curriculum, for instructional and coursework use only, are entitled to receive the software at no charge, via download directly from the Mathworks Company. Faculty members, please use the following procedure to receive the software:

1. Send e-mail to Tim Mathieu at tmathieu@mathworks.com.
   
2. The e-mail message should contain:
   -  your name,
   -  the course name,
   -  the course number, and
   -  the desired software version, i.e., 2008b, 2009a, etc.
   -  a notation to that effect, if additional toolboxes are desired. 
   
   By default, these nine (9) modules will be provided:  a.) MATLAB, b.) Simulink, c.) Statistics Toolbox, d.) Optimization Toolbox, e.) Image Processing Toolbox, f.) Signal Processing Toolbox, g.) Signal Processing Blockset, h.) Control Systems Toolbox, i.) Symbolic Math Toolbox.
   
3. The request will be processed within 24 hours (Monday - Thursday) and the software made available via download from http://www.mathworks.com/.
   
4. The software will expire after 365 days.
   
5. Use of the software for research applications is prohibited.
