2008 Dress for Success Drive

Now’s the time to clean out those closets and start fresh with a new spring wardrobe!

Please consider donating your gently-worn business attire to Dress for Success. Women helping women successfully enter the workforce by providing coaching and interview attire to those who desperately need employment.

The 2008 Dress for Success Drive is underway. We will be collecting items through April 17. Thanks to our volunteers, for your convenience, we have six locations across campus to drop off donations.

There is an elevator right outside the South entrance to the Suite 238 HPB. Donna’s room is just inside the South entrance to 238 HPB and is Room 238AA HPB

See below for requirements for donations

Remember, we have certain requirements regarding items we can accept. We are looking for new or nearly-new and cleaned:
* Coordinated, contemporary, interview-appropriate skirt and pant suits
* Beautiful, crisp blouses
* Gorgeous blazers and jackets
* Professional shoes
* We are particularly in need of larger-size suits.
We cannot use sportswear or casual clothes, although there are plenty of other organizations that would be glad to have such donations. We also cannot accept:
* Suits and dresses that are not appropriate for interviews
* Jewelry
* Belts
* Undergarments
* Used cosmetics
* Used pantyhose

Registration is now open for the 2008 Women's Leadership Conference to be held on March 28 at TUC.

   TUESDAY: NOVEMBER 13
UC Women’s Basketball vs. Michigan Fifth Third Arena. 7 pm Tip off. Cost: $15 (includes dinner from 5-6:30 pm in UCATS Club & ticket to the game) OR $3 (includes ticket to the game only) *This is also TOYS FOR TOTS night.
