Dress for Success was founded in New York in 1997 and it's mission is to "promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire."  AAPW is proud that this year's drive will be our 12th Annual University of Cincinnati AAPW Dress for Success Drive.

2012 DRESS FOR SUCCESS DRIVE

Thanks go out to Donna Corday and Sharon Boyle who are leading the 12th Annual University of Cincinnati AAPW Dress for Success event. The 2012 Dress for Success Drive begins on Thursday, March 15, 2012 and continues through the morning of Thursday, April 26, 2012.

Please consider donating your new or nearly-new and cleaned business attire to help women in need to enter the workforce.

Below are the requirements for all donations:

We are looking for new or nearly-new and cleaned:

• Coordinated, contemporary, interview-appropriate skirt and pant suits
  
• Beautiful, crisp blouses
  
• Gorgeous blazers and jackets
  
• Professional shoes, handbags and jewelry to create an entire ensemble
  
• We are particularly in need of larger-size suits.

We cannot use sportswear or casual clothes, although there are plenty of other organizations that would be glad to have such donations. We also cannot accept:

• Suits and dresses that are not appropriate for interviews
  
• Undergarments
  
• Used cosmetics
  
• Used pantyhose
• Men's clothing
