Purpose:
Publishing scholarly articles with an emphasis on connecting research with P12 practice–
• Focused on stimulating dialogue and action advancing coherent, balanced, and comprehensive K-12 curricula, assessment, instruction, and related research.
• Relating ACR’s meaning of “balanced and comprehensive” curriculum to practice, through published works that demonstrate curricula that are planned and supported to provide a high-quality education for all children, coherently and appropriately connected among and within subjects and content areas.
ACR is a non-profit collaborative group comprised of more than twenty national education organizations, including most of the organizations that developed K-12 standards for student learning. The Alliance mission is to serve as a national forum to stimulate dialogue and action advancing coherent, balanced, and comprehensive preK-12 curricula, assessment, instruction, and related research that will support achievement of all children.
