AESS is continuously recruiting UC students who are interested in academically supporting others through peer tutoring. We accept applications year round and hire on an as needed basis. Candidates must have received a 3.0 average or above in the relevant content and enjoy teaching and learning. The LAC Academic Coaching Program is now hiring for Fall of 2012!
Applicants must have a 3.3 GPA or higher. Coaches meet with UC students to determine student strengths and weaknesses in academic settings. Coaches are then responsible for preparing individualized responses, exercises, and references to address student needs. Coaching schedules will coordinate with coaches' curricular and extracurricular activities, but coaches must be available for some trainings and meetings.
