The total mean GPA difference between SI Participants and Non-SI Participants ranged from 1/3 to 1/2 a letter grade during the 2010-2011 academic year. Many courses have mean GPA differences from a half to a full letter grade!
Students who regularly attend SI sessions are more likely to have a greater difference in GPA, as evidenced in the charts below:
