Shuttle Services

About Us:

Two university shuttle systems provide more than a half-million rides each year for students, faculty, staff and visitors of the university community.  Although the systems are separately funded, they are managed by UC Transportation Services.  The systems are identified as:

  1. Track the shuttles on DoubleMap at https://uc.doublemap.com.
  2. Suggested browsers for DoubleMap are Firefox, Google Chrome, or Safari, or Internet Explorer 9.
  3. None of the BTS Shuttle Routes operate during Winter Break.
  4. UC Uptown/UC Victory Parkway Shuttle and the UC Uptown/UC Blue Ash Shuttle - do not operate during Winter Break.
  5. The BTS Neighborhood Drop route was discontinued due to low usage.

Track the Shuttle Routes on GPS

Shuttle Services now uses DoubleMap to display real-time, route-specific information via your mobile phone or PC browser using GPS to calculate estimated arrival times and display real-time shuttle routes, stops and locations.   You may link to DoubleMap through Mobile, University of Cincinnati or directly at https://uc.doublemap.com/map/.

BTS - Bearcats Transportation System Route Maps and Schedules (Off-Campus Shuttles)

The BTS shuttle routes operate at various times during the academic terms and connect UC's Uptown Campus with the nearby neighborhood, and local and Greater Cincinnati entertainment areas.

Note
:

  • The BTS shuttles are for the exclusive use of UC students and are free of charge.
  • When entering the shuttle, the UC student must present a valid UC photo identification card to ride the BTS.
  • Each UC student is permitted to bring one (1) guest on the BTS shuttle.
  • BTS shuttles do not operate during academic term breaks, on official UC holidays, or during the summer academic term.

CTS - Campus Transit System Route Maps and Schedules (Campus-to-Campus Shuttles)

Four (4) CTS shuttle routes will operate at various times during the year between designated stops on UC Campuses. Follow them LIVE at  https://uc.doublemap.com.

Note:

  • The CTS shuttles are for the use of UC students, staff and visitors, and are free of charge.
  • The CTS shuttles operate Monday through Friday only.
  • The CTS shuttles do not operate on official UC holidays or weekends.
  • The UC Blue Ash/Uptown and the UC Victory Parkway/Uptown Routes do not operate during weekends, UC holidays, or term breaks.

Frequently Asked Questions:

[ 1 ]     Do the UC Shuttles Operate if Severe Weather Closes UC Uptown Campus?

If the UC Uptown Campus closes due to severe weather, etc., BTS and CTS shuttles will continue to operate for one hour after the official university closing time, provided the roads are safe and passable.

However, some routes may stop operating even when the university remains open, if road conditions are unsafe.  Please follow the Shuttles Live at https://uc.doublemap.com for the most up-to-date travel information concerning route operations and estimated arrival times.

  • UC Blue Ash and UC Reading Campuses:

    Metro bus routes serve UC Blue Ash and UC Reading Campuses. For schedules, please call Metro at 513-632-7528 or visit Metro online.

  • UC Clermont Campus:

Metro has a few routes serving portions of Clermont County, but Metro routes do not extend to Clermont College.  Contact the Clermont Transportation Connection, the primary public transportation provider in Clermont County to find out about their services.
