The Office of Contract Compliance at (513)556-2366 offers guidance to minority & disadvantaged suppliers.
Working closely with the Central Purchasing Department, the Office of Contract Compliance is responsible for assisting minority and disadvantaged businesses in pursuit of sales opportunities at the University of Cincinnati. Also, the Office of Contract Compliance assists with the administration of the State of Ohio minority business (Set-Aside) and socially and economically disadvantaged business (EDGE) programs.
The Office of Contract Compliance participates with external organizations such as the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce, the African American Chamber of Commerce, the Ohio Department of Development, the Small Business Administration, Cincinnati Minority Contractor and Business Assistance Council, and the South Central Ohio Minority Business Center. Staff and the above agencies assist minority vendors with procedural/buyer relationships necessary for successful business efforts. This is done by evaluating selling opportunities within the university and the capabilities of vendors, and by updated vendor registration such that buyer decisions are expedited. |
