AASHE is an association of colleges and universities in the U.S. and Canada working to create a sustainable future. It was founded in 2006 with a mission to promote sustainability in all sectors of higher education - from governance and operations to curriculum and outreach - through education, communication, research and professional development. Businesses, NGO's, and government agencies can participate as AASHE partner members.  AASHE aims to advance the efforts of the entire campus sustainability community by uniting diverse initiatives and connecting practitioners to resources.

Hamilton County Go Green Challenge

Cincinnati Children's Hospital, the Christ Hospital, the University of Cincinnati, Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, and the Hamilton County Solid Waste Management District have partnered together to create the Go Green Challenge. The mission of the Go Green Challenge is to encourage organizations, both large and small, to reduce their environmental impact.  Children's Hospital, Christ Hospital, and the University of Cincinnati have all initiated major environmental projects, such as facility-wide recycling or constructing LEED-certified green buildings. These organizations are leading by example and want to challenge your organization to implement environmental practices.

Green Partnership for Greater Cincinnati (GPGC)

The Green Partnership for Greater Cincinnati (GPGC) is a collaboration between five major regional institutions (the City of Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Cincinnati Public Schools, the University of Cincinnati, and Duke Energy).  The partnership’s goal is to encourage and support efforts that will measurably improve environmental performance, save money for the GPGC partners, and demonstrate commitment and leadership to the Greater Cincinnati community.
