UC’s carbon footprint was completed in October 2008 for our uptown campus (main). Our regional campuses carbon footprint are to be completed soon.

UC is using a very comprehensive tool provided by the organization Clean air-Cool planet (http://www.cleanair-coolplanet.org/ ) to measure the level of our community’s greenhouse gas emission.

Clean Air-Cool Planet (CA-CP) is the region's leading organization dedicated to finding and promoting solutions to global warming. This comprehensive tool is created to measure the Greenhouse Gas emission by the different components of the campus.…….more details- see report


Action Plan
University of Cincinnati is in the process of developing an action plan to promote its sustainability effort throughout the campus. The Campus Action Plan would include our ongoing and proposed efforts to reduce university's carbon footprint.
