The University of Cincinnati Alumni Association is led by a 36-member Board of Governors. The board includes members who are elected at-large, represent college or special-interest alumni associations or groups within the UC alumni community, or are part of the staff leadership team on campus.

Mr. Myers is Executive Vice President of Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. He has served on the Board of Executive Advisors for UC’s Real Estate Program and as past chair of UC’s Real Estate Advisory Council, as well as a member of the Clermont County Chamber of Commerce Board of Trustees. His interests include UC athletics, water and snow skiing, and travel.

His interests include anything UC, fishing, boating, and coaching youth soccer.

Mr. Yates is president of Tony Yates and Associates in Cincinnati. He has served on the boards of the Cincinnati Recreation Commission Foundation, First Tee – Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, UC’s C-Club, and the Tony Yates Caring for Kids Foundation. He has been actively involved in junior golf for many years and oversees the Tony Yates Junior Golf Academy. He is the former head basketball coach at UC.

She has served on the board of Mental Health Services East and is currently the president of the Greater Cincinnati Nurse Executives Organization. Her interests include traveling, sports (especially when her son is participating), and golf.

Chris Dalambakis is National Sales Manager for Brand Experience Strategy at Steelcase, Inc.  He serves on the Sigma Sigma Board as Social Chair.  In the community, he is a long-time trustee of the Fire Museum of Greater Cincinnati, and he and his wife, Judy Schneider Dalambakis (A&S ’80), a former UCAA board member, actively support the local arts.  Chris’s interests include Bearcat football, travel, and sporting clays.

Rob currently serves on the boards of the Northeast Ohio Human Resource Planning Society, Volunteers of America of Greater Ohio, the Cuyahoga County Public Library Foundation and the Club at Key Center. He is also on the Executive Committee of the Entrepreneurs Association of John Carroll University. His interests include traveling with his family, tennis and reading history.

Lookout, St. Vincent de Paul Society, Christ Hospital Chaplain’s Services, Delta Tau Delta Fraternity Executive Board, UCATS, Sigma Sigma, and the St. Joseph School Tutoring Program.  He is married to Lisa (Lisa Anderson UC ’78) for over 30 years and has 4 children, one of which is in UC’s Medical School.

Mr. Rybolt is president and chief operating officer of Infintech (Innovative Financial Technologies), an award-winning, Cincinnati-based company specializing in electronic payment processing for businesses and organizations. He has been a volunteer leader for a variety of organizations and projects, including the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, Cincinnati Parks Foundation, Downtown Cincinnati Inc., Fine Arts Fund, Give Back Cincinnati, and Vision 2015 Regional Master Plan for Northern Kentucky. His interests include running, sporting events and volunteerism.

Mr. Shafer is a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young, serving Fortune 500 corporations as a business advisor.  Justin currently serves as the Treasurer for the Cincinnati Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), as a Committee Chairman of the UC Honors PLUS Business Advisory Council, and is the Program Leader for the United Way/Ernst & Young Earned Income Tax Credit Collaborative.  Justin and his wife, Lisa, reside in Green Township with their daughters Lillian and Carolyn.  The entire family are diehard UC athletics fans!

Dr. Wenstrup is a podiatric physician/surgeon with Wellington Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in the Greater Cincinnati area. He is a U.S. Army Reserve Officer and served in Operation Iraqi Freedom, 2005-2006. He currently serves on the Cincinnati Board of Health and the Board of Directors for Boys Hope/ Girls Hope. He previously served on the UCATS Board.

Mr. Wolf is a Senior Vice President at Duke Energy, developing renewable energy projects.  He has served on the UCATS Board of Directors since 2007, and serves on the UC Sigma Chi House Corporation.  In the community, Greg serves on the Cincinnati Museum Center Board of Trustees, has served as a cabinet member for the United Way, and as co-president of the Harvard Business School Club of Greater Cincinnati.  His interests include traveling with his family, UC athletics, and coaching his two sons.

An author and inventor, he has held prestigious appointments with professional and university-based organizations, and has earned multiple awards for excellence in teaching. His interests include sailing, mountaineering, and coaching youth athletics.

Ms. Grummich is Owner and Principal of Box Canyon Group, an employee communication consulting firm, which she started in 2004 after retiring from Towers Perrin (aka Towers Watson).  After her Off-Broadway years, she moved back to Cincinnati and has volunteered for UC and CCM ever since.  Ms. Grummich was the 1993 recipient of the UC Alumni Association Award for Distinguished Service.   Her interests include singing, golf, raising teenagers, travelling, and volunteering and fundraising in a variety of ways that support the arts and young artists – especially in hometown Cincinnati.

Rob Lewis joined The Lawrence Firm in 2002. He has devoted his practice to representing those devastated by injuries occurring at the hands of the fraudulent, negligent, and reckless. He was an associate in the litigation department at Frost Brown Todd where he represented corporate clients, banks, small businesses and individuals in disputes involving commercial, zoning, construction and other matters. After graduation from UC, Rob had the honor of serving as a judicial clerk to the Honorable William O. Bertelsman, then Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Kentucky. At the College of Law, Rob served as Articles Editor and as an Associate on the Law Review. He is a member of the Ohio and Kentucky Bar associations, AAJ (American Association of Justice), OAJ (Ohio Association for Justice), and KJA (Kentucky Justice Association).  Mr. Lewis lives in Crescent Springs, Kentucky with his wife, Jennifer, their twins Logan and Lorelai, and daughter Lily.

Ms. Strupe is a Quality Assurance Nurse with Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services where she works to ensure quality of life and health for people with disabilities. She serves as adjunct faculty for Wright State University’s Department of Community Health where she co-leads a seminar for medical students on non-verbal communication. She is a member of the Ohio Public Health Association, Tri-State Medical Reserve Corps, and the Cincinnati Health Department Citizen Advisory Board for emergency planning. Her professional interests include public health and policy, environmental health, and emergency preparedness. She enjoys biking, reading and cooking.

Mr. DelleCave is an Analyst and Process Improvement Manager with Cincinnati Bell. He is an active volunteer serving in various roles and activities, especially with the Bearcat Bands. He plays alto saxophone in the UC Alumni Band and serves on the band staff at many UC athletics and other events. He coordinates a Young Adult Ministry for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati at St. Peter in Chains Cathedral.

Mr. Jackson is the pharmacy manager at the Forest Park Walgreens. Professionally, he is a member of the American Pharmacist Association (APhA), National Pharmacist Association (NPhA), Ohio Pharmacist Association (OPA), and the Cincinnati Pharmaceutical Association (CinPhA). With the Cincinnati Pharmaceutical Association (CinPhA), he has served as a past president. Personally, he is a member of the Allen Temple A.M.E Church where he serves on the steward board and a member of the Delta Gamma Lambda Chapter of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. where he has served as the past corresponding secretary and vice-president. Also, he is a staff member serving as the programs co-coordinator for the Midwest Regional Black Family Reunion Celebration Event. He enjoys interacting with and helping others. His hobbies are spending quality time with friends and family, socializing, reading, and watching his favorite sports of football and basketball.

Mr. Hughes began his service as UCAA’s executive director in early 2008, returning to his alma mater after a 20-year career in the economic development field, including time with the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce (now the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber) and the City of Cincinnati, as well as work in St. Louis, Memphis and Tampa. He was the first recipient of UCAA’s Jeffrey Hurwitz Young Alumni Outstanding Achievement Award in 1995. He serves on the boards of the African American Chamber’s Education and Resource Foundation, Greater Cincinnati Sports Corporation, and Civic Garden Center; he was a member of Leadership Cincinnati Class XXXII, and is serving on the Inclusion Committee of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s Agenda 360 initiative. His interests include jazz, travel, cooking, major league sports, attending church, and service to others. Mr. Hughes was a member of UC’s basketball team as an undergraduate from 1981-86.

Michael Linger

Michael Linger

Michael Linger, a native Cincinnatian, is a senior ACCEND student earning a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the College of Engineering and Applied Science as well as a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Carl H. Lindner College of Business.  Michael transferred to UC in the winter of 2008 after playing a season of football at Michigan State University.   Prior to being elected Vice President, Michael served as an At-Large Senator and Chairman of the Public Affairs Committee. Away from Student Government, Michael spends his time and energy recruiting and mentoring engineers by leading tours for prospective students and their families as an Engineering Ambassador and serving as a peer leader for two separate engineering learning communities.  During his five co-ops, Michael had the opportunity to work in Tampa, Orlando, St. Louis, and Cincinnati and completed his last three co-ops as an environmental engineer with The Procter & Gamble Company.  Out of the classroom, Michael enjoys catching performances at CCM, exercising at the Rec Center, and competing in intramural sports.  Michael is proud to be a Bearcat and Proudly Cincinnati.

Bryant Shannon

Bryant Shannon is a fourth-year Marketing major in the Kolodzik Business Scholars (KBS) program in the College of Business. Bryant has been involved in Student Alumni Council; the Sibs Weekend committee; and Student Government, serving in the roles Diversity Director, Associate Vice President of Special Interests and External Holdover Senator before returning to a greater role in SAC as its President this year. He is a Student Leader and Teacher Assistant within KBS, a scholar within the Darwin T. Turner Scholar Program, a member of the Men of METRO, Collegiate 100, Cincinnatus and Omicron Delta Kappa honoraries. Bryant co-oped in the Marketing Department at AdvancePierre Foods as well as Bakery Crafts. Bryant enjoys anything UC, playing guitar and Cincinnati sports. Bryant has also traveled to London, Montreal, Belgium and France with UC study abroad trips.
