The University of Cincinnati Alumni Association is led by a 36-member Board of Governors. The board includes members who are elected at-large, represent college or special-interest alumni associations or groups within the UC alumni community, or are part of the staff leadership team on campus.

Mr. Jones is Director within the Tax Consulting Practice of Brixey & Meyer, Inc. He has served on the board of Enjoy the Arts in Cincinnati, Board of Advisors for BGV, Chair for Equity Leadership Team for Fairfield City Schools, Member, International Economic Development Council and Member, Ohio Economic Development Association. His interests include coaching youth sports, motorcycle riding and traveling to sporting events.

Pavey Educational Foundation.  Troy enjoys traveling with his family, golf, and following UC athletics.

She has served on a variety of professional, public, and non-profit boards and committees in the Cincinnati Area, and, in addition to UCAA, currently serves on the boards of Cincinnati Works and Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park.

His interests include UC athletics, water and snow skiing, and travel.

Dr. Burgin is Associate Provost & Dean of Students at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn. He is involved with Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., 100 Black Men of America, was part of the inaugural class of the ACE Spectrum Leadership Program, and volunteers with the American Heart Association. Jeffery often returns to his native Cincinnati to support the Bearcats.

Mr. Dalambakis is National Sales Manager for Brand Experience Strategy at Steelcase, Inc. Chris serves on the Sigma Sigma Board as Social Chair. In the community, he is a long-time trustee of the Fire Museum of Greater Cincinnati, and he and his wife, Judy Schneider Dalambakis (A&S ’80), a former UCAA board member, actively support the local arts. Chris’s interests include Bearcat football, travel, and sporting clays.

Ms. Favorite is a former employee in Residence Life at the Pennsylvania State University in State College, Pa., as well as a former university adviser. Her community involvement in State College includes serving on the board for the Boalsburg Heritage Museum and the Nittany Cooperative, serving as a Pennsylvania scholarship committee member, and performing with a local singing group. She is a past national vice president of the Delta Zeta Sorority. She has been involved in many local community charities and activities, including Toys for Tots, March of Dimes, and Junior Women’s Club. She and her husband, Robert (CEAS ’75), are supporters of UC, UCAA, and Bearcats athletics, including membership in football’s 1200 Club.

Mr. Long is Co-Managing Partner of VR Business Brokers in Cincinnati. He is currently involved with Christ the King Parish in Mt. Lookout, St. Vincent de Paul Society, Christ Hospital Chaplain’s Services, Delta Tau Delta Fraternity Executive Board, UCATS, Sigma Sigma, and the St. Joseph School Tutoring Program. He is married to Lisa (Lisa Anderson UC ’78) for over 30 years and has 4 children, one of which is in UC’s Medical School.

Mr. Shafer is a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young, serving Fortune 500 corporations as a business advisor. Justin currently serves as the Treasurer for the Cincinnati Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), as a Committee Chairman of the UC Honors PLUS Business Advisory Council, and is the Program Leader for the United Way/Ernst & Young Earned Income Tax Credit Collaborative. Justin and his wife, Lisa, reside in Green Township with their daughters Lillian and Carolyn. The entire family are diehard UC athletics fans!

Stiles has served on the local boards of the Urban Land Institute, the Cincinnati-Kharkiv Sister City Association, the American Society for Public Administration, and on the national Government Affairs and Policy Committee of the International City Manager’s Association. Interests include golf, urban revitalization, scuba diving, traveling, UC athletics, and discovering the world with his 7 and 5-year old daughters.

Dr. Wenstrup was elected in 2012 to represent the people of Ohio’s Second Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives.  He brings experience as a doctor, Army Reserve officer, Iraq War veteran, and small business owner.  In the 113th Congress, Brad serves on the House Armed Services Committee and the Committee on Veterans’ Affairs. A Cincinnati native, he became a podiatric surgeon, treating patients in Cincinnati for the last 26 years. Brad and his wife, Monica, reside in Cincinnati.

She is actively involved in many nonprofit organizations, including SULA (St. Ursula Leadership Alliance) and Lindner Center of HOPE - High Hopes Guild. She and her husband created and chaired The Soul of the City benefiting Our Daily Bread, and she currently chairs Taste of the World benefiting The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Ruthie chairs the UCAA’s Distinguished Alumni Celebration. She loves collegiate and professional sports as well as traveling.

Mr. Wiley proudly serves as a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. He is also a mentor for students in the College of Business and most recently received its Business Fellows award. Serving as a member of the Onyx & Ruby Society, Mr. Wiley helps secure funds to assist minorities further their education at the University of Cincinnati.  He volunteers with the youth sports programs at the Powel Crosley YMCA.  His interests include UC athletics, sports history and spending quality time with family and friends.

Mr. Grabowski has over 23 years of fundraising, leadership and management experience plus a record of success in cultivating major gifts. He was previously Senior Associate Vice President for University Advancement and Campaign Director at the University of South Florida where he was responsible for the branding and successful completion of USF’s largest fundraising and outreach effort as well as an annual giving program in excess of $85 million.

 

Jennifer Heisey

Ms. Heisey provides strategic leadership and vision for UCAA while managing the daily operations of alumni staff and volunteers. She works closely with the UC Foundation president to connect with alumni and cultivate development opportunities for the university. Her efforts, along with those of UCAA staff and volunteers, ensure that alumni stay engaged and active in the UC community. She brings more than 15 years of experience to UC from five different higher education institutions where she has developed exemplary leadership, advancement and relationship building skills. Previously she led alumni affairs efforts at the University of Louisville and SUNY College at Buffalo, in addition to serving the UC Alumni Association from 2005 to 2010, including two years as chief operating officer and director of alumni affairs.

Benjamin J. Keefe is a fourth year student in the Lindner College of Business.  He is majoring in Finance and is a scholar in the Carl H. Lindner Honors-PLUS Class of 2015. As part of the Carl H. Lindner Honors-PLUS curriculum, Ben participates in the cooperative education program.  He works at the Fund Evaluation Group in research focusing on the Real Assets strategy. Ben is also the undergraduate student representative on the Board of Trustees at UC. He is a brother of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and also plays for the UC Club Water Polo Team. In his free time, Ben enjoys playing water polo, swimming, golfing, and traveling.
