"Want a New Career? Strategies for Change - at Any Age"

Julie Bauke, a noted career strategist, partnered with the UC Alumni Association to offer workshops that focused on career management needs. The workshops were held on Tuesdays in October at the UC Myers Alumni Center.

We learned:

How to decide when the time is right to make a change
How to look at your skills, your interests and experiences in new ways
Developing the career messages that point you toward your new career
Networking as a core career-change strategy...and much more

Get That Job! Job Search Strategies for Success

This workshop explored the tools and info needed to find the right job, the right way. It was held in July 2012 at the UC Myers Alumni Center.

We learned:

Why and how creating a job search plan will greatly increase your chances of success
How to stand out from the crowd of applicants for every job
How to focus your search based on what you want.
Tips and tools to be an outstanding networker — and to actually enjoy it.... and more!
