African American Alumni Reunion

The UC Alumni Association’s African American Alumni Affiliate (4A) holds activities on campus each year during Alumni Weekend and Homecoming.

Tuesday, Sept. 16

UC Diversity Networking Reception
6-8:30 p.m.
310 University Pavilion
The ADVANCE student organization teaches students how to network and gives employers an opportunity to connect with potential future interns, co-ops or full-time employees.

Wednesday, Sept. 17

4A Community Service Project with Hughes High School: “Social Media – Branding For Your Future”
9 a.m.
Hughes Center High School
4A will partner with advisors at Hughes Center to have business professionals and branding experts discuss the impact of social media on others’ perception and impact on future opportunities. Volunteers should report at 8:45 a.m. and report to the main office to sign in.

Thursday, Sept. 18

HoopLA Charity Basketball Tournament
6-9 p.m.
Shroder Paideia High School
This annual basketball tournament will donate all proceeds to the Linda Bates Parker Scholarship Fund.

Friday, Sept. 19

Frank Bowen Retirement Party
Noon – 2 p.m.
Great Hall
Help celebrate the UC career of Mr. Frank Bowen and thank him for all of his contributions.

4A Diversity Summit
3-5 p.m.
African American Cultural and Resource Center
The event will bring current students, alumni and university administration together to discuss diversity issues at the university.

Meet, greet and reconnect with fellow alumni at the new Banks development in downtown Cincinnati.
