Cincinnati Women in Excellence and Spirit Together (CWEST) is a women’s honorary that was established by Men of METRO in 1979. Our organization selects new members in the fall and spring quarters who exemplify CWEST's four pillars: scholarship, spirit, sincerity, and leadership. This selection process is called tapping. Each new member, a CWESTepede, receives a pin and a rose. The rose is the CWEST symbol of spirit. During the annual red Rose Banquet, a CWEST Woman of the Year is named and CWEST also honors four undergraduate women with the Red Rose Pillar Awards.

Our mission is to:

• Promote the reconnection of CWEST members for networking and sharing UC spirit

• Support fundraising initiatives for CAN and CWEST actives

• Serve as a touchpoint to maintain a current CWEST alum database.

CAN is looking for alums to serve as members of the alumni board, and always seeking to update CWEST alumni contact information in our database.
