Personal Note: The years that I spent at UC were instrumental not only in my personal development but also in my professional evolution. My educational experiences at UC enabled me to expand my vision of a career from nursing to organizational management. I have been able to blend the education I received in both disciplines to start and build a successful business that is both customer focused and employee centered.
Career Achievements: Mrs. Fields founded and is the Owner, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Integrated Resource Technologies, Inc., a provider of intelligence analytical and operational solutions, security management, information technology, and operational and administrative solutions for civilian, military, and intelligence agencies. Clients have included Defense Intelligence Agency, Missile Defense Agency, Department of Energy, Golden Field Office, and Booz Allen Hamilton.
Prior to IRT, she was an executive with several small businesses in Washington, D.C. She began her management consulting career at Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) serving in several capacities including Senior Management Development Specialist and Internal Organizational Consultant. Prior to joining DEC in 1979, she spent more than 10 years in the health-care field at a university medical center.
She is an owner of the Washington Nationals Major League Baseball Team. She also is a board member of Group Hospitalization and Medical Services Inc., the Washington, DC affiliate of CareFirst BlueCross and BlueShield and a member of the Board of Directors of the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital.
Educational Highlights: Mrs. Fields graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a BSN in Nursing from the College of Nursing in 1972 and an MSN in Adult Psychiatric Nursing in 1974. She also completed course work for PhD in Organizational Behavior at the College of Business, University of Cincinnati.
