It is impossible to overstate the importance of private support for UC, and we look to our alumni to lead that effort. While such support is a constant need, it is even more pressing in these times of tight budgets and a challenging economy.

And while monetary support is of course vital, there are also many other ways to get involved...from mentoring students, to volunteering, to providing co-op opportunities.

UCAA is also an eager supporter of Proudly Cincinnati: Tower of Strength, Rock of Truth -- the University of Cincinnati’s ambitious campaign to raise $1 billion by 2013. Through Proudly Cincinnati, alumni – as well as faculty, staff and friends of UC – provide essential monetary support for private scholarships, fellowships, co-op opportunities and more to help transform students' lives and enable them to do great things for their communities and the people they serve after graduation.
