Direct support of the UC Alumni Association through private donations is not only appreciated — it’s necessary to ensure that UC has a vibrant alumni-relations environment, which is essential for the university’s overall success.

Gifts to the UC Alumni Association may be designated to several specific funds or left undesignated, in which case they will be applied to the areas in greatest need and where they will have the greatest impact.

UCAA Funds

Supporting UCAA funds help strenghten and expand programs and services available to UC's current and future alumni; enables UCAA to maintain and enhance facilities; and promote and foster an alumni culture among current UC students.

UCAA Scholarships

Supporting UCAA Scholarships provides the opportunity to attract outstanding students and reward them for attending UC — in many cases “keeping UC in the family” as legacy Bearcats (lineal descendants of other UC alums).

Matching Gifts

Maximize your support through a matching gift if possible. Many companies match any current gift of cash, stocks or bonds made to higher education by their employees (and often employees’ spouses and company retirees).

The company’s matching gift form must be sent to the UC Foundation with the individual’s gift. To see if your company participates, visit our matching gift directory.

Donors are entitled to income-tax deductions for their individual gifts only, but the UC Foundation recognizes the donor for the total amount of both personal and matching gifts.
