Anesthesia Residency

The Department of Anesthesia provides the four-year curriculum required by the American Board of Anesthesiology for certification as anesthesiologist. Historically, our graduates have a 96.5% pass rate for those who have taken the Boards. Our Anesthesia Residency includes a one year internship and three years of clinical and didactic anesthesia training (CA-1, CA-2, CA-3). The Anesthesia faculty is comprised of anesthesiologists and educators that are dedicated to clinical and academic excellence. The training of anesthesia residents is directly supervised by members of the Anesthesia faculty with increasing clinical responsibility and independent work as the resident progresses in his/her training.
