The Ranger Challenge competition consists of nine separate events and spans over two days. This year’s competition was help October 15th and 16th.

The University of Cincinnati fielded an all female team for the first time since Army ROTC began at the University of Cincinnati in 1917. The competition ended on Saturday night with an awards ceremony that was held on Sunday morning congratulating all forty seven teams from Seventh Brigade that competed.

The nine events are: Engagement Skills Trainer where Cadets tested their marksmanship skills with an M-16 rifle, Iron Warrior- an event that required Cadets to move heavy objects over a long distance, orienteering, weapon assembly and disassembly, hand grenade assault course, one-rope bridge, obstacle course, and water operations using an inflatable raft.
