Bearcat Card System Upgrading Now

On Tuesday, July 22, at 5:30 p.m., UC began the process of upgrading to the latest version of the Bearcat Card system in order to provide a better user experience. Please note that during the transition, the system will be down.

While the Bearcat Card system is upgrading, access to the Residence Halls, meal plans and the Campus Recreation Center will be available, but funds on Bearcat Cards will not be available and you will not be able to deposit money onto your card until the system comes back up. We anticipate the system will be back up and running by 9 a.m. on Thursday, July 24.

On-campus locations will come up first. It may take several days to get all off-campus locations converted to the new system. We anticipate all locations will be completely up and running by Friday, August 8. Visit our Bearcat Card site at to see a daily list of merchants as they come back online.

We apologize for any inconvenience. Should you have any questions during this time, please contact the Bearcat Card Office at, or call 513-556-2000, or log a call at
