Obtaining an R25 Calendar Account

The goal for the Calendar of Events is for each UC college/unit to designate a calendar contact. This contact will be responsible for adding events that are held in spaces reserved by the unit itself. Events that are held in spaces controlled by the scheduling offices for Uptown East and West Campuses must be added to the calendar by the scheduling offices staff.

Each calendar contact must attend training before using the calendar system. When training is requested, a calendar account will be created. Only UC employees, students, or others with university computer accounts may secure accounts for the calendar system.

If your unit currently does not have a calendar contact, you may contact the following people/units for inclusion of events on the Calendar of Events:

1) For events in spaces scheduled by the Campus Scheduling office, contact Kathleen Armontrout at 513-556-2442.

2) For events scheduled in Uptown East Campus spaces, contact Rose Bruns, AIT&L, at 513-558-4186.

3) For events in spaces not scheduled by the Campus Scheduling office, contact Carey Hoffman at 513-556-1825.

For information on eligibility, training and calendar accounts, contact Donna Hamilton, Assistant Vice President, Web Communications, Governmental Relations and University Communications.

An R25 account allows a person to request space for an event and also to schedule events in spaces for which they have authority to schedule. An R25 account requires that software be installed on your Windows workstation.

Account requests will be processed prior to R25 training. This allows the requestor to have the R25 software installed on the requestor's computer prior to the first training session. Fro training contact Nancy Hanseman in Human Resources.

Account requests for new units/departments (those not already set up within the R25 system) require a minimum of one-month notification, so that a planning meeting may be scheduled and appropriate access, security, spaces, etc. can be set up prior to training.

Account requests for established units (units which already have accounts within the R25 system) must be received at least two weeks prior to training.
