Using the UC Calendar of Events

The UC Calendar of Events is the official Calendar of Events. It is intended to provide complete information about UC events for the campus community and the general public.

Search for an Event: Use the “Event Quick Search” at the top of the right-hand navigation area to find a specific event. Type in all or part of the name and then click “Go.”

Get Event Details: Click on the Event Name for a separate window that contains detailed information about the event.

View Event Information: The default calendar view (www.calendar.uc.edu) shows major university events by date for the current week. (Note that "Events" and "By Date" are highlighted in red in the box at the top of the page.)

Using the right-hand navigation, you can adjust your view in the following ways:

Events by Date

  • Choose “Day” or “Week” to see events for the chosen time period.
  • Choose a numbered day or week to see events for a specific day or week.
  • Choose the arrows each side of the Month and Year to view a different month.
  • Choose “Go to Today” to see events for today.

Topical Calendars

Choose one of the subject areas listed under “Choose a Calendar” to view a variety of calendars with information specific to a topic or category. Note that additional items will be included on the topical calendars which may not appear on the University Calendar.

 Viewing Events by Location

In the navigation menu in the box at the top of the page, click on “Locations” to see campus spaces where events are held. (The word "Locations" turns red, indicating that you are looking at events by location.) The default view shows Auditorium and Assembly spaces available on today’s date. Navigation within the Locations view is similar to the Events view.

Using the right-hand side navigation area you can adjust your view in the following ways:

  • Choose “Week” to see spaces for the current week.
  • Choose a numbered day or week to see locations for a specific day or week.
  • Choose one of the spaces listed under “Choose a Calendar” to view spaces for different areas or different purposes.

For Location Details, click on the Location name for a separate window that contains detailed information about the location.
