Meet the Coaches
The University of Cincinnati is proud to offer its very own Masters Swim Program. Centrally located in Clifton at the University of Cincinnati, the Masters Swim Team provides an opportunity for a variety of swimming experiences. The program caters to those individuals looking for stroke technique and development, regular workouts, and preparation for Masters Swimming competitions. Depending upon one's inclination, workouts are tailored for beginners, tri-athletes, and competitive swimmers alike. The coach is also willing to work one-on-one with athletes to develop desired training modules and specific types of practices.
The United States Masters Swimming (USMS) program exists for anyone who wants to improve their swimming technique and enjoy the fellowship of like minded people. USMS is a national organization that provides organized workouts, competitions, clinics and workshops for anyone 18 years or older. Registration is open to all adult swimmers who are dedicated to improving their fitness through swimming. The USMS currently has over 40,000 members and while it supports and encourages competition, more than half of its members are fitness swimmers who do not compete.
All USMS programs are designed to help swimmers improve fitness and/or train for specific goals. The team offers active support for a healthy lifestyle through friendship and camaraderie. All swimmers have goals, and no one swimmer's goal is more important or worthy because it is faster or slower than anyone else's.
UC Masters Swim Team Practice Dates
January 6 - April 25
Mondays and Wednesdays: 5:30 - 7 p.m.
Saturdays: 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.
There will be no practice on: Jan. 20, Jan. 25, or Jan. 27
Pricing options for Spring Semester

Mondays and Wednesdays:
April 28 - May 28, 5:30-7p (short course)
June 2 - Aug. 6, 6 - 7:30p (long Course)
Saturdays (No coach on deck):
May 3 - 31, 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. (short course)
June 7 - Aug. 2, 11:15 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. (short course)
There will be no practice May 17 (Swim Meet) and May 26 (Memorial Day). June 2 and 4 practices will take place from 7 - 8:30 p.m.

A Masters Swimming Package entitles the user to access the aquatic facilities only during designated practice times. Participants in the Masters program who wish to utilize other areas of the Campus Recreation Center or swim during non-scheduled practice times must purchase a Campus Recreation Center Membership.
