Virtual Career Fair 2004

CDC’s Virtual Career Fair (VCF) provides the best service possible utilizing state of the art technology! The VCF is an on-line career fair facilitated through the World Wide Web at www.virtual-careerfair.com/uc and email. A wide variety of companies participate. All types of positions are marketed via the VCF including part-time, summer and full-time jobs, as well as internships. Last year 50 companies and over 2000 students and alumni attended VCF.

The Virtual Career Fair is a convenient, cost-effective way for employers to make contact with UC’s diverse and talented students and alumni. You can participate without ever having to leave your desk, and there are no associated travel costs.

   To participate you must:
          1. Have email.
          2. Have a mainstream word-processing program
          (i.e.. Microsoft Word, WordPerfect) to view *.rtf resumes.
          3. Be able to register on the Web.

  Employer cost:
         $200 Corporate Sponsorship
         $100 per virtual booth*. 
                * Special discount opportunities:
                       - Government Agencies: $50.00 (UC is a member
                                   of the Federal Government "Call to Serve" Program)
                        - Goering Center members: $75.00
                        - UC alumni-owned companies: $75.00
                        - Nonprofit organizations : $50.00
