What Can I Do with a Major in...Education? Education Students pursuing undergraduate degrees in Early Childhood Education complete a concentration in a selected area. Students in Elementary Education or Secondary Education enroll jointly in the College of Education and the College of Arts and Sciences, earning two degrees in a program that includes a year long internship in the school. Graduates earn a BA or BS degree in Arts & Sciences in their selected major, and a BS Degree in Education and a teaching certificate from the State of Ohio. While most graduates pursue a teaching career, a baccalaureate degree in education enhances employment opportunities in a number of human service agencies.
