Defining Diversity and Inclusion in Your Organization

Creating Sustainable Recruitment and Retention Initiatives

The University of Cincinnati, Career Development Center Diversity Recruitment Training program will be held on Friday, July 29, 2011, at the Hyatt Regency located at 151 West 5th Street in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio.

Progressive organizations now understand that diversity fuels outreach to new consumer markets, which in turn fuels innovation and sustained business growth.  While 2011 is shaping up to be a challenging time for recruiting organizations in corporate America, diversity recruiting continues to be more competitive than ever before.    We know that organizational leaders are struggling to manage diversity and achieve inclusion in their organizations at precisely the time it is needed most.  Progressive organizations also understand that building relationships with diverse college students is absolutely essential to successful diversity recruiting and retention.  Our Institute supports organizations which are responding to the challenges of successfully managing diversity. Our Institute will provide substantive information-packed breakout sessions and thought provoking ideas using a variety of approaches – presenters, open mike discussion, small group sessions, and interactive exercises.    This year our national presenters have traveled from the East Coast and West Coast to share with you suggestions for creating sustainable diversity initiatives.  We have selected excellent presenters who are pioneers in the field of diversity.  Our Institute demonstrates that diversity strategies must not only be bottom-line driven, but also linked to the organization’s strategic imperatives.   You will gain skills, insights, and strategies for recruiting and retaining a diverse and productive workforce.  Our Institute’s content is reviewed each year based on input from our Diversity Recruitment Training Institute - National Employer Planning Group, recent graduates, current students, diversity experts, and career professionals.  As a result, the 2011 Institute offers participants up-to-date action packed discussions.  Plan to examine new powerful diversity recruiting strategies and retention best practices.  Learn how to apply these strategies and best practices in your organization. Join organizational leaders, recruiters, diversity officers, human resources managers and nationwide diversity thought-leaders at our 2011 program.
