Parker,
Director of the Career
Development Center, was featured in the News Break column of
Working Mother Magazine,
Dec-Jan 2009 Issue, for her continuing diversity work with Black Career Women, a
national, non-profit organization that addresses career and professional
development issues. Linda is a past recipient of
Working Mother's National
Champion of Diversity Award
for her long-term leadership and community service in diversity
work. Linda created the Racial Awareness Pilot Program (RAPP) and the Diversity
Career Fair for UC students and the Diversity Recruiting Training Institute, (DRTI)
an annual event to assist employers in their efforts to recruit diverse college
talent. This year's DRTI is scheduled for August 4th, 2009. For more
