Description of Major

This major educates students with a vigorous science curriculum that supports laboratory experiences and
chemical analysis based on accurate collection and presentation of data, and effective communication of results.

Employment Opportunities 

Graduates are prepared for a wide range of positions in forensic laboratories, or research laboratories in the area
of agriculture, medicine, drugs, energy and textile or fabric creation. A variety of jobs are available for chemical
