Description of Major
This major educates students about a flexible but organized way of preparing to be productive participants in contemporary urban life. It is an extremely flexible liberal arts program that gives students great leeway in developing their own focus on an aspect or urban life that interests them. This is accomplished through a large number of courses the students choose with a faculty advisor and a related thesis project.
