A terrific way to build interview skills and confidence!  Each interview is conducted by a volunteer recruiter from a local company, and immediate feedback is provided.

Description: Videotaped Mock Interviews give you a chance to practice your interview skills with an actual recruiter, who hires UC students. Recruiters will role-play an interview with you, and then give you feedback on your interviewing. This whole experience takes about 30 minutes, and you can get valuable feedback on your interview skills and areas that need improvement.

If you have not yet created a profile in Recruit a 'Cat, you can do so by clicking on "Click  here to register" located under the login button on Recruit a 'Cat.   Be sure to tag "Video Mock Interview" in your Applicant Type along with any other appropriate category listed.  This is found under "Demographic Information".

HOW TO SIGN UP FOR A VIDEO MOCK INTERVIEW TIME SLOT:

• Log into your profile
• Hoover over INTERVIEW SCHEDULES tab
• Click on  VIEW ALL UPCOMING INTERVIEWS
• In the Organization Name box type, VIDEO MOCK INTERVIEW, then click on SEARCH
  
• Click on the desired date
• Click on JOB TITLE
  
• Scroll down and click on SCHEDULE ID
• Click on SIGN UP tab located on top center of screen
• Click on SIGN UP link next to desired time

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU ARE AWARE OF THE TIMELINE THAT IS ATTACHED TO EACH SCHEDULE.  THIS TIMELINE WILL PROVIDE THE SIGN UP OPEN DATES AND THE SIGN UP CLOSED DATES!

What to Bring: Please bring a resume to the Mock Interview, but feel free to dress as you are. If you would like a copy of your interview, please bring a flash drive.
