Beth Hanson

Professional Experience

Professor Hanson serves as a Visiting Assistant Professor/Co-op Advisor in UC’s Division of Experience-Based Learning and Career Education.

Professor Hanson joined UC with over 7 years of experience at the Food and Drug Administration’s Forensic Chemistry Center, where she has served as a research and forensic chemist, teacher, and co-developer of the Forensic Chemistry Center’s first electronic database system.  Her research in analytical chemistry has been presented at several national scientific conferences including the American Society of Mass Spectrometry and the American Academy of Forensic Science.  Additionally, she has strong ties to the co-op program as a UC graduate in the chemical engineering program, and participant in the international co-op program in Mannheim, Germany.
