Sport Administration Bachelor's Degree:
The sport administration degree emphasizes the business side of the sport industry and was developed to meet the standards of the "Sport Management Program Review Council." This program features 42 credit hours of sport specific courses, a solid business foundation and two quarters of on-the-job field experience.

The Sport Administration Program provides graduates with a strong technical foundation and the business skills necessary to successfully enter the field of sport management.

In 2006, Street & Smith’s Sports Business Journal determined sports to be a $213 billion dollar industry. The sport industry is double the size of the automobile industry and one of the ten largest industries in the United States. Given the economic magnitude and the pervasive nature of popular sport in American society, the need has never been greater for educated/trained sport managers.

There are approximately five million people working in sport-related occupations. Those seeking jobs in the areas of professional sports, college and high school athletics, sporting events, organizations, venues and facilities, and sporting goods will benefit from having a degree in Sport Administration.
