The Dual Enrollment Program provides student support in the DEP by…

• Providing one-on-one student intervention in both academic and psycho-social areas.
• Individual meeting with students to set academic and personal goals.
• Assessing student’s college aptitude skills through the LASSI, an assessment instrument designed to assess students’ readiness for college.
• Providing intervention/crisis management as needed working with structures within the school setting.
• Providing assistance by helping students applyto their college(s) of choice and assisting them to work through the maze of FASFA (financial aid) and other paperwork necessary for successful entry into college.
• Helping students connect to resources that will help them become more successful in college and assisting in overcoming barriers to the college transition process.
• Providing opportunities for interested students to visit UC and other colleges to meet with the appropriate program advisors.
