Tau Alpha Pi Inducts 4 New Members
Tau Alpha Pi Honor Society welcomed four new members from the 2006 graduating class. From left to right the new members are Ross Beesley, Renee Merz, Sarah Pullen and Joel Willis.

FormulaCAS and its team welcomed people to Showcase UC and CAS Culinary students made the CAS display area one to remember! Showcase UC displayed research projects and student achievements from across the university. Click here for a summary of this April extravaganza.
Duke Energy and CAS hosted Special Program on March 15
Open House on March 15 featured a special program on careers in the power industry tailored to high school guidance counselors, their students and parents. Duke Energy staff outlined career options available to associate and bachelor degree graduates and the college announced a new Power Plant Technology Option to its Electrical Engineering Technology Associate Degree.

Recognition Celebration
Click here for all the awards. CAS Alumni, Faculty, and Friends of the College celebrated the college's achievements, recognized distinguished alumni and faculty on their singular milestones and presented a University of Cincinnati Award for Excellence to Dr. Richard L. Kegg. Dr. Kegg's colleagues, fellow alumni and the college further honored him by establishing the Richard L. Kegg Scholarship Fund .
Saluting Our "Cool Coops" Winners of 2005
Nine of the 20 entries from the college were selected to win a $100 prize packege for their submissions. The winners will be recognized with a dinner & introduction during half- time of the UC - Providence basketball game on Friday, February 17th. CAS students selected as "Cool Coops" from the more than 250 entries across the university are: Anthony Kahny, AET; Brandon Stout, CM; Jeremy Janson, CM; Jason Fishcer, IET; Louis Von Eye, IT; Jason Lamping, IT; Jacob Barnhorst, MET; Christopher Stollenwerk, MET; and Frederick Smith, MET.
