Awards flowed at the 11 th Annual Student Writing Contest – right into the waiting arms of students from Applied Science and the Center for Access and Transition. Awards were presented at a ceremony on May 14, 2008 hosted by the University of Cincinnati Committee on English Composition, University Libraries, and Just Community. Excellence in the college’s writing programs shined as 11 top awards went to Applied Science and CAT students out of the 19 presented. Applied Science and CAT faculty were also recognized as they mentored 14 of the 17 award winning composition writers.
