Math Course Description Physics Course Description

The Department of Mathematics and Physics prepares undergraduates for careers in engineering technology. In that role, we recognize the need to compute in today's workplace. A graphing calculator is required for all math courses; currently the TI-92 or its equivalent: a handheld computer algebra system whose cost is under $175. For the incoming freshmen class, math courses from Algebra & Trigonometry I upward will be taught using the TI-92. Contact the Department of Mathematics and Physics at 556-6565 or via email for further information.

The departmental faculty are concerned that incoming students are placed into the most appropriate level mathematics course. Freshman students will register for math courses based on ACT or SAT test scores. Contact the Department of Mathematics and Physics at 556-6565 or via email for further information or consult an advisor for appropriate placement.
