The College of Applied Science names 10 high school seniors as 2009 CAS Technology Scholars. Dean Richard Newrock of the University of Cincinnati’s College of Applied Science named ten seniors from Ohio and Kentucky high schools  as 2009 CAS Technology Scholars.

The 2009 CAS Technology Scholars will be recognized at halftime of the UC-West Virginia basketball game in a special awards ceremony. During the ceremony each student receives an award certificate and a $2,000 Scholarship (renewable for $1,000 for up to four additional years - total value potentially of $6,000).

The College of Applied Science ,CAS, of the University of Cincinnati is pleased to offer the CAS Technology Scholars Program . The program provides both speakers for high school classes and career events as well as scholarships for high school seniors.
