CEAS 2009 Fall Career Fair - Tuesday, October 13, 2009!

Meeting friends in one of the lounges, working on a project in the library, grabbing a burger at a college cookout, sprinting to first in a softball game, or slaving over the homecoming float for its grand entrance in the parade - you get a feeling of fulfillment.

The college's small classes, laboratory exercises and group activities foster a comradery that carries over into everyday activities in and out of the classroom. Whether an entering freshman or a senior completing his or her bachelor degree, Applied Science offers a wide variety of activities ranging from awards banquets to barbecues to lectures over pizza or competitions - within the college, the university or nationally.

For entering freshmen the fun begins even before classes start. The Day Before launches a series of activities designed to smooth the transition to college life and enhancing the first year experience.

New this year is a continuation program for sophomores that builds on the strengths of the first year experience and assists in their progress toward graduation.

As one of the University of Cincinnati's fifteen colleges, Applied Science students enjoy more than just dorm life. The university is vibrant community offering a wealth of opportunities for social, intellectual, and competitive interactions. A quick look at the UC Calendar or a browse through the UC web site confirms the richness of life as a UC student...
